Blademaster is, indeed, the good counter to Blood II here, so Moby isn’t cutting me any slack, and it has just enough attack to mean that Land Octopus can’t blaze past it. My current best options are Sacrifice the Weak and Hooded Executioner, but I need to be able to kill other units first. Alternatively, I just take Chaos Mirror. Yeah, that seems the most straightforward option, and if I play Lich’s Bargain it gives the Skeleton and Zombie something to do.
As for this turn, the Tenderfoot in front is awkward, because it doesn’t kill an attacking Crashbarrow. I’d have to Deteriorate it afterwards, if I want to bring it back with Garth. Doing that does require skipping a worker, but I can destroy a tech building. I doubt Moby has enough in hand to make it a problem if I don’t, but with his float maybe I don’t take the risk.

words cannot describe my absolute amusement and enjoyment that not only have I corrected you before, that you in fact remembered it despite it being over two and a half years ago, and it was in a game with frozenstorm. Absolutely brilliant, well played.
There are the two crashbarrows. But I did a mistake with Fencer on Elite. I thought he needs Det to kill it, but I did not do the exact calculation. He had anyway no money for worker so no card loss with Det. And he managed to get it in that cycle… Det on crashbarrow means probably the other crashbarrow on his current hand. My tech 2 break did not hit any crashbarrow…
But nothing to complain he hit tech 3 and I have no blademaster. He could have played other cards instead which would cause now more trouble.
I don’t see any chance for Maestro to survive against crashbarrow. Stw would be bad as well. But I hope Sets or tech 3 and I will have 5 cards again…
Boosting the Executioner kills the Maestro, midband Drakk + Glider kills Setsuki. Unfortunately, both cost 5, so I can’t do both. I can do one + worker + normal Executioner / Heroes’ Hall / Lich’s Bargain, though. Am I more scared about the Maestro or Setsuki? Probably Maestro, it lets Moby play Blademaster etc. for free.
Another line is heroes kill River, then I can both boost the Executioner and kill Setsuki with a Glider, for 8 gold, or haste the Executioner and kill Setsuki with that instead for 9 gold, or haste the Executioner and destroy a Tech building with it for 8 gold instead of killing Setsuki. Both variants leave me pretty wide open if Moby has a good virtuoso hand, so unless I destroy Tech I leaving maxband Setsuki alive could go very badly, not to mention that she can swiftly kill Garth.

Thoughts
That executioner again… But, I am lucky tech 2 kill would have been the worst case I think. 75% chance for Maestro.
Maestro drawn very good, but I missed the fencer… This would have decided the game.
His hand gives me a lot to think… He will easily kill one blademaster, and Grave. We don’t see any other possibility even with drawing one additoinal card via Garth to kill the other blademaster. The other glider is not in the cycle any more, so I think one blademaster will survive 2 of his turns…
But I realized a big mistake. I should have teched in Jade fox 2x, since I don’t have a tech 3 in the next cycle… 1g left for Tech lab.
Bloodlust
Shoddy Glider
Sacrifice the Weak
Chaos Mirror
Thoughts
Yeah, this sucks. Shoddy Glider can take out something with the help of Bloodlust, after that it becomes difficult. How about Zane (8), Bloodlust Glider + Zane (5), Chaos Mirror on BM and Drakk (3), Drakk kills Grave (Zane → 3), then maxband Zane (0) kills Scavenger Blademaster (1), and I have 1 gold left for Tech Lab? That wastes the shove damage, though, I’ll put Bloodlust on the Executioner instead. Leaves me with almost nothing on the board, and the Messenger can easily kill Drakk, but if I’m lucky I don’t lose my Tech II here.

Hey Mouse, I am definitely not an expert on the rules, so I am not sure if I got it wrong. Blademaster should give all my units and heroes swift strike. So when they defend as well…
Brutal. Did spent quite some thoughts into your options but didn’t see that one coming… for you @charnel_mouse (or maybe I’m just blind and it was obvious)
