Thoughts

If I were playing Blue P1, I would want to have Arrest, Manufactured Truth, Aven and Building Inspector in my second hand so I guess I should assume the same. As for the final card maybe Porky or Musketeer would make sense. I don’t think Lawful Search is a good idea in turn 2.

My options really come down to Calamandra + FF or Panda + Tiger or Panda/Tiger + Prospector + Tech I. The latter seems kind of fun as it gives me a chance to draw into a Tech I unit early if I patrol Prospector in Technician and he gives me the draw. If he doesn’t then I’ll have enough gold to invest in a chunky hero. My main plan is to stay on track for Tech II and trust in Present for the win.

Okay, I think we clear as much of his board as possible because his units are always going to be heartier than mine so we may as well try to put him on the backfoot. I could hire the Building Inspector rather than the Porkhand Magistrate, but I want him to have to spend more to kill the Magistrate and, if he doesn’t, then I get to Disable units and heroes for the cost of a card draw and a gold and I think that’s just swell.

So I kind of goofed my plan for early Tech I, and I don’t have great options to spending my gold. Among the best is Cala+RG Panda to kill Porky and then patrol Cala in Elite. That forces him to either trade in Oni or to midband him and put a lot of resource there. I can always tech Reversal or Ferocity as answers to AoW so I’m not super worried about that line. Here I want bodies and I want tempo so Rambasa + Now! seems obviously the right way to go.
