Zane, Lobbers, Rambaster, and Mad Man break your base, GG WP!
I feel like I need at least one more practice game, since Red’s one of my least-used colors, and when I do play Red, I tend towards strategies that I don’t dare try against Assimilate.
Plasmodium… gotta watch out for it, as it’s caused me problems in the past. But, soonest it can land is T3. What I really want to do here is to set up to break his Tech I next turn so he can’t drop a Seer on T3, but chances are the Mox is gonna get in my way again. Still, it’s worth a try, and my best bet is to drop the Ogre and a hero now. No need to worry about Forgotten Fighter taking the Ogre, so I’ll SQL it to protect against Nullcraft. The hero should be either Drakk or Jaina, but… Drakk is better gives the option to midband to boost the Ogre, but doesn’t have enough attack to sideline a SQL Mox. So, I’ll try Jaina.

Even without the Mox, it’s still hard to push through: that Argonaut is almost as bad. I don’t see a good option here, but… this seems to be the least bad. At least it guarantees that the Plasmodium can’t kill Jaina next turn, barring Undo…

Thoughts
Maybe should have gone with Bloodlust instead of Crashbarrows. Or maybe Desperation followed by Crash Bomber for a rapid deployment of low-cost units. Even if Rewind landed, I could just play them again or leave them in hand to reinvigorate my cycle speed. Well, I guess I still have a turn before the reshuffle, so I may as well go all-in on Tech II Blood now, especially since I’ve taken the initiative and probably won’t have much else to spend gold on besides infrastructure next turn anyway.

Ouch. At least I get a chance to tech another R&D before the reshuffle.
Somehow I ended up with a duplicate Scorch… well, since it’s just a practice game, I’ll random to determine which is real… and it’s the one in my hand.

Thoughts
I could trade Geiger for a tech break and dig for cards with Prynn, but all my best cards are Geiger spells. So I’ll make fewer attacks and drop more cards.
…
3rd card from the top is R&D!
