Well, he is well setup for triple tech kill here. Even without that, he can definitely break my tech 3 if I build it. I don’t have any way to kill Rook without spending 4 attacks on it, which feels like a major waste of resources. So I can’t build my tech 3 and expect my tech 2 to live.

Thoughts
Well, thats unfortunate, I was hoping against sensei’s advice AND grappling hook. And I always forget ember sparks doesnt work on backline. So, I can’t stop him from doing earthquake and breaking both tech buildings, so my next hand is going to be pretty terrible. Hope for the best, I guess. I could hit his base to 8 and leave the tech 1 alone… meh
As far as I can tell, there was no float (and anyway there’s no Pirate around so should only be 2 damage to base).

I thought Lobbers were Pirates, and I don’t know why I thought there was any float. I withdraw the pillage and redraw my next hand.
