Just to clarify, Sets at L1?
No, he gave Setsuki the free levels.
Yes sets at level 3, should be marked in board state I think?
Ahhh okay I see how the comment reads now.

Thoughts
I’m now kicking myself for missing my hard counter to Juggermox. let’s see if I can stay online enough to deploy it, or if the game ends first. Anyhow this turn I’m worried about Nullcraft, which I can hilariously disable with Versatile. 6 gold left, I can mid Sets and kill something with Swift Strike. Prospector, for example, after Grave kills Treant. Leaves me at 5 gold after worker, so uh tech 3? double check math, 2 for Versatile, 1 after Grave kills Treant, mid Sets for 4 spent, 3 after prospector kill, 4 after worker. considering my deck, max Sets and Tower is better. I don’t think I actually go for tech 3, I need a bursty wincon. FDS lets me set up for Earthquake on anyone. also okay sets at L3 changes my options. I guess I hmm. bank the gold or kill off Grave. let’s limit Neko’s power, Neko is the counter to Frozen but must stay limited.
@Nekoatl’s turn!

My Thoughts
So with everyone else still healthy and Neko with so many damn units I don’t think I can quiiiite end it here and win outright, but I can definitely eliminate charnel (which is awesome, b/c balance and law have my strongest counters), and I think if I tech an Art of War so long as I draw it before the Death Rites a second time, I can knock out Neko with unstoppable Oni as well. I should easily be able to mop up Carpe and Bansa from there
…
Hit it first try, will play hoodie to try and dig up the other 0-costs, I should have done the math I actually need all of them to be able to eliminate Neko also, otherwise I will have to pick someone else to pick off (Carpe I guess, to get rid of a snapback and max sets invis shenanigans?)
…
Nice, got 'em all, plenty of runes, let’s get it
I think Death Rites only kills one unit per death, so you choose one opponent, then destroy one of that opponent’s lowest tech units.
Also, indestructible units get skipped as per Sacrifice the Weak.
Oh snap you’re right, I didn’t read it properly…
In that case I suppose Bansa will keep his BKs, Neko keeps units until he’s eliminated anyway, and I will just do what I did but with charnel’s units only
Yep just edited it in, still works fine
This one actually I think is incorrect; Sacrifice the Weak “sacrifices” units, Death Rites “destroys”
Per the ruling on Death Rites card db page:
If there are any units that are indestructible or that can’t leave play, ignore them when looking for the weakest unit. If such a thing would be their “lowest tech unit” then instead destroy their next weakest. — sharpo, 11/24/16
Yea I went to check as soon as I hit post on my now-deleted message, you’re 100% right
Okay, as I understand the rules for sudden death, at the end of each of Frozen’s turns from now on, anyone not tied for healthiest base is eliminated, until only one player is left. I’m not clear on whether or not reducing another base to 0 can immediately end the game, but I’m inclined to think it can.
I don’t think that’s quite the case; I understood it to be more like we’ve “run off” and are now playing a 3-person FFA
I read that as one contiguous paragraph describing how the “sudden death” works, not “sudden death” in the sense that henceforth someone breaking the 20hp tie immediately eliminates them.
If it is the second thing, I will 100% be eliminating Carpe over charnel. Judgment and Nature Reclaims suck for me, but I can’t leave maxband sets up when I have no tower
Let me check the rulebook directly, and anyone else chime in if you know the exact answer
Okay from the rulebook, page 14 (16 of the pdf):
So in that case, Carpe, bansa and then myself will each take one more turn. Most base health at the end of my next turn wins (unless there’s a tie, then we go 'round again)! GL HF!
Looks like board state needs fixing? Unless I’m somehow seeing an old version (the one I’m seeing has my tech 2 down, leaving me ineligible for sudden death because base at 18). Not a huge deal because I’m gonna be taking this turn on desktop, it’s big think time.
Yes, I had previously tried to spread the love around before I remembered to check endgame ruling specifics around ties. However I no longer have write access to the board, @Nekoatl is that you who can grant it back?
Sorry about that, should be fixed now.
