Patrolling Porky in elite is main reason this turn is frustrating for me, otherwise I could FF him out the way and shore up nicely. I think my main goal now is to Assimilate Jail so it’s no longer an issue, just need to try and keep Vir alive to cast it. Best way I can see of doing that is putting Prynn in the way. For sure one hero dies, hoping it’s Prynn given the 1HP Elite Vir would leave Midband Oni on. Stockpiling plenty gold for Assimilate, spam units or get Tech II up on time.

I was looking over my turn and realized I had a couple mistakes on it. The first one I found was that I paid for a worker but didn’t put it into the worker column. Thoughts

Battle Suits in play is the most important move here but that leaves Plasmodium as my only playable unit, and it’s the card I most want to worker. Need to put Vir into Elite instead. He can mid Oni to kill him but it keeps him behind on tech so I don’t particularly mind. Otherwise he’s got to trade in Oni and pivot elsewhere.

Thoughts

This was a pretty passive turn, could have gone for a Fargo but decided to save the gold and push for Tech II as early as possible. Stewardess and Now! give me options to deplete his board of Illusions and/or get some aggro going
