I guess Tech I is best to break now he has Garrisons up. I hate not being able to worker but the Tech break seems really important to slow him down Teching in a couple of Seers to balance out my unit count. If he gets the obvious Free Speech off next turn and I’m neutered I’ll trade as best I can then tech up

Gives Blue some hasty damage to kill things like Pestering Haunt and limit hero aggro (not safe to leave them on 1HP for example) and makes Musketeer a viable copy target throughout the game

I’m willing to try it though I do feel insecure about it since I have lost the vast majority of matches I’ve ever played as Blue so I’m skeptical of the value of the test. While I’m aware of the consensus, winning against Black seems more possible to me then winning against Purple. Oh well, I think we all know that I’m astonishingly bad at this game.

I don’t feel particularly threatened here with Quince being limited to 1 attack, so lets go Tech II Present and kill the Mirror. Also lets my handsize recover and builds up some gold for what I’m hoping is a big turn. He can’t Injunction me so worst case I lose Geiger to some Musketeer shenanigans and have to pivot to Prynn for a turn to deal with his board.

Couldn’t see a way to break Tech II outside of some Vir future card shenanigans and those are so low percentage that I don’t see much point in trying. Best way to play this turn is to get Prynn in as a patroller and clear out Quince so I’m ready to make hero based plays next turn. Keeping Geiger safe since he offers so much burst.
