Well, you can’t always get what you want. No Graveyard… I could Deteriorate and trade, but I’d be feeding him a card and explosing a hero to attack (pre-Grasp). On the other hand, getting hit by overpower wouldn’t be fun. There’s also the problem of Calamandra’s resist… maybe better to just StW. Yeah, let’s go for that. Hmm… might have been a better idea to open with Rambasa Twin than Bone Collector. Seems like Twin would pair well with Distortion. Probably doesn’t matter too much.
a couple of things. First, Vandy’s max can’t target above tech 1, second, against big, dangrous heroes like rook black likes to use nether drain. Deleveling a hero removes abilities and leaves the dmg. So EG a two lived rook with enough dmg can die just out of nether drain, giving you 4 lvls for 1 gold and 1 card.

Guess I should just give up on the Graveyard. I sure would like to tech up sometime soon, preferably at least one turn before Garth maxbands. But, I can’t afford to right now.

Ideally, I want the threat of the Wight to keep him from summoning a hero next turn, then I cast Temporal Distortion to swap the Wight with something else… Warp Disciple, maybe. For that to work, Geiger needs to survive. So, as insurance against Rampant Growth, I’ll bring in Grave. Gonna go ahead and grab Executioners, because their Boost can’t be applied when arriving directly from my codex. They’re also a better choice for forcing sacrifices than StW, particularly when I have only one Black hero.
