GG WP! Canā€™t keep up

GG WP man. So it appears that early pressure can be a viable strategy against this deck huh? How do you think you try to counter the early aggro with your deck?

I think Strength was a better t2 plan, Barbs are a good stop to all that pressure. Still though, Iā€™m not certain what the ā€œrightā€ thing is: Grave is problematic for any deck as P1 and this one is no exception. Perhaps Iā€™m building tech 2 too fast? Perhaps I need a Boulder + MM second tech? Sharks are my best way to counter Twins, but itā€™s a losing trade for me. Taxmen seem like the best investment at tech 1, but perhaps Mythmaking + Galina + Boulder would be better.

Iā€™m game to try again if you arenā€™t bored of the matchup, otherwise Iā€™m up for switching sides or changing decks!

Alright running it back to let you try some Anti-Grave strats. Im not bored of it yet, but start thinking of some other aggro builds you wanna try to poke some holes in.

Iā€™m sure we can think of tough P1 decks to try this against. Mono Black, Demon Necro Finesse, Necro Blood Truth come to mind, though those I have a clearer ā€œget MoLaC onlineā€ objective. Something aggressive containing Future so I have to 100% play away from MoLaC would be good. Grave is not SO dangerous that I canā€™t try MoLaC, but Vir stealing it makes it strictly no-go I think.

Well, my mean green fighting machine is online! Galina may be able to turn the tide for me, weā€™ll just have to see what heā€™s able to bring. Ninjas and Porcupines certainly arenā€™t the best to deal with, so gotta bring in a Chaos Mirror to help diffuse them. Probably Entangling Vines would be good against them as well, though Dinosize is a decent alternative!
