River’s spells are less threateninig with the Newsman in play than Rook’s, so I’ll choose to bounce River and kill rook.

GG WP indeed, you had me sweating for a while there!

So, the gist of it is, when Seer removes a time rune from Rememberer, the Rememberer fetches a unit with fading from the discard without paying its cost. Then, the Insurance Agents insure a (preferably expensive) unit with fading, so when its last last time rune is removed, it dies and you collect a massive payout. Ebbflow Archon allows Seer and Insurance Agents to be played repeatedly, so if you’re careful and patient, you can generate infinite gold and infinite card draw (excepting that the discard pile can only be reshuffled into the deck once during each main phase). The catch is that the combo requires active Tech I, Tech II and Tech III buildings plus a Tech Lab to work, so it can be difficult to set up against some builds.

Yea, Insurance Agent is really the MVP, I didn’t even know you could use it on an opponent’s unit. When you insured SQL I thought it was yours. I think I manage early turns fairly well but always lose it during mid game and fail to set it up for late games. Glad at least played better than the first game, but I’m done with this match up. Strength really was not a good pick. If you want to draft something else, I am up for it.

It offers incredible value if you can collect the payout (which usually means you want the unit to die in the same turn it’s insured). It’s a much riskier proposition to float an insurance rune over to your opponent’s turn, especially if faced with Kidnapping etc, though a Flagbearer can mitigate this (Vortoss Emblem ftw?).
