Really good game! Was afraid of your Gryphons so I teched Jaina’s spells. Didn’t quite get used as intended but they ended up being very useful. Your insurance agents really surprised me. They are very versatile.
Insurance Agent is one of my favorite cards, and yeah, you can do crazy stuff with them.
But yeah, GG WP. Those Fire spells really did some work for you; I think the key play was when you took out my Censorship Council with Jaina’s ult. I really wanted to get Feral Strike going and deploy a Mind-Parry Monk or two to defend against her, but you applied too much pressure.
I wouldn’t mind playing one more game with this build if you want, but I’m honestly more interested in switching to [Demonology]/Growth/Strength or [Necromancy]/Growth/Truth for a bit. The idea behind this build was to go all-out fetching stuff directly from my codex, but I think the over-reliance on keeping a max-level Calamandra in play is too much of a drawback.
Whooa, that is a crazy turn. I couldn’t even follow what exactly happened there. Yeah, I thought so too. Jaina’s ulti really saved me that turn. Without it, would have been GG. Got lucky with the timing. Sure let’s switch it up the heroes. I will give red starter a go. Taking you on with [Anarchy/Fire]/Truth. I will go first.
By the way, what are your thoughts on the ongoing poll? Are you going to vote/participate the next tourny? I voted for random because I like the spontaneous actions and figuring strategy out of decks I didn’t plan out. I guess I am a little biased because I’ve only played random before joining this forum recently.
I voted for draft because I’m a very build-oriented player, and that’s a chance to make lots of builds, plus a rare chance to take the opposing build into consideration when designing my own. Though, if we’re doing weird things, I’m much more interested in trying 4-hero builds than anything in the poll.
I’ll probably participate if the gimmick is anything except the balance changes, just because I have enough trouble remembering all the details of all the cards without a slew of those details changing.
Geez, Red+Anarchy and a $2 float. Fear the haste. Well, at least if he goes maxband Zane, he’ll have to skip his worker, so I don’t need to worry too much about that, but still. Also, it’s dangerous to leave $2 float, so I need to find something to spend on. I’m not happy to see both my Demons in my T1 hand, either. I think my best bet is to just boost Vandy’s health.
Ha, it’s funny you say that because I was thinking exactly the same. I really want to participate but that balance change is really turning me down unless it’s isolated to a couple of never used cards. It’s interesting that we like different things but both agree on the dislikes. You got me interested in the draft though, maybe we should try it out. I’m not too keen on 4 hero mode just yet tho because I think it will give too much freedom. I like the risk I have to take by playing all three heroes because when they die, there is no more to summon next turn.
