Thoughts

Invisible slime kills everything, muahaha! Disease is of course a problem for me, with Crows hitting my current weakness. Debuff runes bug Immortals and Abominations wreck the 1/1 techs. I’ll tech Tricycloid for shooting down air and promise of payment for affording Tech 3 or maxbanding Vir. I’ll certainly draw Temporal Distortion next turn, so I should be able to get a Sentry or Void Star out for anti air if the Gargoyle or Cursed Crows are played.

Nice draw: the Abomination lets me finally get rid of the Plasmodium, then a hero can come in and Deteriorate the Stewardess. Maybe Troq, then I can whittle a building down a bit too. No, I want to keep a full hand. Abomination is nice here for fighting against Tech II Present, but with 18 gold OffKilter can afford three of them and a Temporal Distortion, so this coming turn could be horrific.

The most dangerous units now are Immortal and Nebula. Nebula is vaguely manageable if I can keep OffKilter’s board low and get a Tower up, since I have Sacrifice the Weak and Hooded Executioner to hit it with. The Immortal’s more annoying, since Geiger can flicker any - runes I put on it. Intimidate lets me attack into it with little retaliation, Final Smash steals it if I can keep a maxband Troq alive. My own win conditions is probably Plague Lord, but I’ve got a long while before it can come and make its presence felt.

Going for Carrion Curse, to hunt for Temporal Distortions and that Unphase. And I think I take the other Abomination, my Graveyard probably won’t last much longer here. Workering the second Gargoyle, they won’t be very gold-efficient with Abominations out.

Good to see some resistance. Sorry to see you go, Tinkerer, you were very valuable. It seemed to make sense to use Tricycloids to clear so that Pasternaak and Hyperion could attack this turn. Teched in some Seers to boost the Reavers maybe. It would have been strong to use Temporal Distortion here to get a Void Star, but I’ll take this opportunity to get Tech 3 and hope for a Nebula soon.

GG WP to you both! You had a lot of different paths to lethal, I had figured it’d be Nebula hitting base, pew-pew-ing Abom, Stewardess bouncing Imp + a Hero pwning Orpal clearing for Tric lethal, or Second Nebula making the first invisible and thus using up tower for Tric lethal.

Ooh, that’s a trick for using up the tower! Though, I think the imp made me discard the second Nebula.

Point of interest: does Hooded Executioner hard counter a single Nebula? Or does that boosted ability ignore invisibility?

No sacrifice does not get blinded by invis, but if all you had out is Nebula, it would be able to hit the Nebula
