Yes that’s right, that was a one time event in an eXperimental tournament event where some random modifications are played. Now it’s a regular tournament with standard PBF rules

Will I and/or my opponent be penalized if we haven’t finished our game by Monday? I suspect we’re in different timezones from when he tends to move, not that either of us is especially quick regardless. If so, does this community have an expected etiquette around premature concessions to circumvent that?
Edit: I doubt we’d be too much longer than Monday and may even finish on time; I just want to be prudent and ask now.

@FrozenStorm & @Unity please just finish your first game in parallel to the new round. After it has concluded I will manually correct the numbers for how many times a player was paired against someone with more/less victories. With that it will not come to a disadvantage of yours because I started the next round while you hadn’t finished the old one.

Is it too late to join in? I have not done any codex in 8(?) years, and I had a lot of trouble against black (nice to see Vandy weakened a bit) back then.

Welcome to the team, awesome that you want to join. The official ruling is that you should gain an auto loss for the turns you missed, but I would like to propose that you are offered the chance to play against the two bye holders from the first two rounds.
I’m posting late matches for the first two rounds. Hugo & charnel are allowed to refuse to play these matches, in this case you would gain that auto loss.
@thehug0naut and @charnel_mouse - I hope you don’t mind playing? As you, hugo, were yourself a late joiner I strongly suggest you to play the late round 1 match. For you charnel, I do so only lightly suggest, not strongly, as you joined regularly and already stated that you are quite busy. So more or less willingly running into a situation where you might have to play two matches in parallel is a burden I don’t won’t to put onto you light-heartedly.

Ok, I must be doing something wrong. Both of those links take me to " Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private."
