Basilisks. -1/-1 runes neuter them. Maxbanding Orpal will do the trick… definitely I am risking snapback here but the value is there. Abominations will keep the basilisks from becoming a problem again.

This aggression is pretty tough to deal with, but I’ll stubbornly keep trying. I’ll wait until next cycle to start stocking up on tech II cards, because I’m hurting for gold right now, even as player 2.

Great timing to have a spare wisp. Sparring partner is doing his job. I’m still behind in economy, but with the tech 1 down I have the tech lead and board presence.
Planning Abomination + Carrion Curse + worker next turn = 10 gold. Can level up Orpal and sacrifice the skeleton for a -1/-1 rune for that last gold. Still broke on cards so Gorgons.
@Nekoatl’s turn!

Opening with Argagarg rather than Orpal? Interesting… Most likely the goal is to midband buff the Rogue and have it attack Onimaru. In which case… actually, between StW and Deteriorate, there’s no solid defense I can muster, at least, not without skipping myTech I. But, at least, StW would require a multicolor penalty and, with the Wisp dead, another unit, so I guess I’ll just frontline the Monk. Where, though, is the question… I think it needs to be SQL so Deteriorate + Argagarg can’t clear the way for the Rogue.
Looks like an Inverse Power Ninja opener, doesn’t it? Not sure, but my immediate goal is no defend the rogue so I can get an empowered attack off. Rambasa should be a good delay tactic, and crypt crawler could have good enough value.
Snapback didn’t seem like an effective use of gold last game… likewise with Boot Camp, at least at the time I teched it. I don’t want to worker any cards remaining in my deck, though, so I need to draw more than 3 cards or get the Smoker returned to hand.
Prioritizing the Porcupines, as they may help to protect my infrastructure and Basilisks as patrollers. Using Soldiers to protect a Basilisk in the short term, because doing so not only all but guarantees that a Basilisk will survive, but also guarantees that I’ll draw a Training next turn.
