Thoughts
Shutting down his Tech II seems like a good plan. I canāt do anything about his Earthquake, but as long as he doesnāt hit my buildings first, and I donāt let him cast it a 2nd time, Iām not worried. To that end, Iāll invest in draw accelerators, though using Dreamscape to retell the Newsman is also potentially an option.

If he has another Free Speech in hand, Iām screwed. I think Iām in a good spot otherwise, seeing as he canāt do enough damage to kill Rook, I can play at least one Earthquake, possibly 2, I can get rid of the griffin if I draw Thunderclap and maybe even if I donāt. My big remaining worry is Free Speech
Sadly the base only takes two damage

How do you have a Savior Monk in play and in hand at the same time?
I think I forgot to take him out of the cycle when I thought he died. Fixed it

Nothing I can do to stop the incoming Earthquake, sadly, but at least by destroying the Tech II, I can lower his hero limit and keep Grave from destroying Eyes, which is absolutely necessary because of his School. That Thunderclap effectively negates my Illusion ground troops, which is a big deal right now. I think Iāve lost at this point.

I believe that works. GG
Eyes of the Chancellor prevent invisible Savior Monks from ignoring patrollers.

Glorious Ninja was detected so Savior Monk wasnāt
Towers are limited to detecting one thing per turn, detectors in general are not. Strictly speaking, a Tower isnāt even a detector.

Does it matter though? I think the saviour monk can just as easily attack once the patrol is empty

If thatās the case I can Versatile Style the EotC away
Except that your Tech II doesnāt finish rebuilding until the end of your turn, meaning your hero limit is 2 until then, and you already have both Rook and Setsuki summoned, leaving no room to summon Grave and therefore no ability to cast Versatile Style.
In hindsight, I should have played a Flagbearer to make that more difficult, but even so, at least if she has to clear my patrol zone before hitting the building, that leaves less stuff available to pound my base into the ground. Iāll probably lose either way, but at least itās a little less certain.
Iām not seeing it. I donāt think the attack order changes the outcome at all.
I donāt understand why youāre bringing up attack order as a potential issue.
Because the issue was the Saviour Monk attacking past the patrol to hit the tech 3, but it can just attack after the patrol is clear and Nope still wins the game.
The Earthquake didnāt directly finish my base off, though, he tried to attack with Rook and a Twin to do the final damage. If he instead uses Rook and the Twin to help clear my patrol zone, they wonāt be available to break my base.

Right, so the bigger issue is Rambasa canāt attack past patrol.
Also yeah I actually thought Nope cleared your patrol fully. I guess quince is still alive.

I donāt consider one invisible unit or another not being able to bypass patrollers to be separate issues.
