I hate to interrupt the game like this, but how is it not better to play Feral Hero here? Or any hero, for that matter?

He probably didn’t have a 1-drop in hand, and would therefore be “wasting” a card. Also, Rook blocks most early hero shenanigans.

Thoughts

Smoker, I could waste a rune and a gold to bounce smoker, but that seems terribad. My original thought was a runed Ironbark, and if he wants to spend 4 on rook in order to walk past it, he can kill my shambler or just deal some damage, which isn’t really that bad. Even with Smoker, its not enough to actually destroy my tech 1. He could maybe get it next turn though, but it leaves very little on defense.

Yup, dead shambler, probably will regret that lost money, effectively 1 more gold than putting out forest’s favor, coulda skipped tech 1, but I think I need the basilisk for this. Birds are also very likely. I need to work on getting to tech 2 Balance faster I think.

Ugh, thats a problem. I can kill Rook without spending any spells, i could even keep the ironbark, but I lose Calamandra. I think that might actually be the play because Rook has to go in order for ferocity to come close to working.

My precarious card position gets steadily worse. I could leave him with a rambasa and patrol water elemental in tech, figuring he uses whitestar to kill it, nah, keep his board low is a better plan.

For zhavier

What happened to Ferocity? Shouldn’t it be in your discard?
