My turn was too hasty… I think I’m into big trouble here. :roll_eyes:

Yeah it’s 7 discard not 6, I counted wrong my bad.

I’ve walked through my available lines and not looking good, that Flagbearer combo draw with LBG is a real doozy…

I’ll think on it a bit overnight, but I’m glad we’re doing some warm up. I definitely need to get my head outside the box more with purple

Sure, feel free. No rush. I actually realized I could be in deep trouble after posting my turn so I’m mentally getting prepared for a huge hit. Hopefully I can regain my ground after that but maybe not. Good thing it was a warm up but I would prolly make the same mistake again regardless. :wink:

EDIT I’m dumb, missed that Tri on top is barely enough to get the Gryphon here and that may just be enough to take the game


Okay, Gryphon’s out but that isn’t actually game over… Prynn can ace it (if there isn’t a flag man to cover it) and Tri can also technically spin it down, plus if I can TD in a Void Star and Now! it, that works too. Unfortunately I’m locked off Geiger here.

Ready or Not also kinda messes it up (or at least stalls for me), so I will tech two of those. Considered going tech 3 + lab for future but I don’t think that will work. Nebula can’t pew-pew it and isn’t fast enough to beat the Obliterate.

If Tri is the Hyperion draw, that’s cool b/c I can beat down Bigby and flagman. If it’s Immortal that’s cool too b/c it’ll survive the Obliterate.

Tricycloid, okay cool. He has to kill Prynn with the Gryphon if he wants to keep it, so I will give the levels to Vir to maybe get the Mech, and also put a beating on the tech2 (insurance agent is the biggest threat right now I think)

I think that’s GG WP! I can’t keep up on gold and I don’t have a tech2 unit to Distortion anymore so I don’t think I’ll be able to rush down the base in time.

I definitely have to be cautious about how I deploy Present, that much is now very obvious. You did great to identify Law and Insurance Agent specifically as incredibly effective here. Perhaps Void Star, Hive and Xenostalker are a better bet. I just couldn’t get a combo draw online in time do make Hyperions work.

I’ll start us a new game later this afternoon or tonight, there’s some nooks and crannies to discover here for sure! I may need to re-evaluate the usefulness of some spells and purple strats and I’m really glad we’re doing some warmup here
