That said, if this is a learning tournament, thereās nothing to lose by playing it out and trying to find some way to deal with it. Running black yourself does give you options.
We both get what we want. PtW.dec gets an easy win, and I get to not spent hours feeling frustrated, fiddling with a spreadsheet and watching my ability to play cards I wanted to explore the use of get taken from me.
Iāll save my āchallenge myself against fierce opposition to develop as a playerā energies for games that are more fun to lose.
@sKiTTer I can understand that feeling. Itās an oppressive deck to play against, and learning how the spreadsheet works is at times a hassle. Weāre all happy to help with particular frustrations, and taking a break is a perfectly reasonable thing to do.
If you and @Legion would like, I wouldnāt mind playing this out for fun with your deck, just to see how the matchup plays out.
That sounds really nice. Itād be great to see if the core concepts have any value when executed by an experienced pilot.
My interest in customizable card games has always been on the customization rather than the gameplay. Itās what makes my appreciation of Yomi so surprising.

Lol didnāt notice he had haunt, but honestly itās okay. He now stands just maxband vandy, which yes sheās scary but I know better than most that sheās not that scary this early, as now she canāt heal back up. I think Skitterās idea with this deck is to flood the board with sticky tech 1 units (Gargoyle, Glaxx, stuff w/ a soul stone) and then Judgement Day, so Iām grabbing a Garg (will make for a great counter-swing at him) and a Glaxx (good defender). Iāll probably actually want Injunction before I want Judgement Day, as heāll probably get plenty of board built up. Might grab that and a scribe next, I may need tower next turn but weāll see how this goes. He may go Shadow Blade instead of Fencers, but I kind of doubt that. Still, I want an extra gold, so Iām going to patrol in scav [/details]

This is just fine, grabbing an injunction and the other Glaxx. He likely also teched Dark Pact (thatās what I do with that deck ^__^), so canāt count anything out, but with no easy StW or Shadow Blade kills on Glaxx (has to die to combat damage), I can either tech up next turn or go tower + hero and take a counter kill on Vandy. Iām almost forcing him to Meta on Garth here, which admittedly isnāt great for me but it isnāt awful either. I may be playing for Omegacrons down the line here but weāll see. I wonder if Community Service would workā¦ Weāll see what he does. If he techs up, I might try it just for shits n giggles [/details]

Hmm, did not consider Vandy SQLā¦ thatās a bit of a bummer. Iām going to spend to 0 b/c I donāt think he went for shadow blade, and the skeleton blocks StW for both Glaxx AND Garg. With a setup shot on tech 2, I can break it next turn + injunction the tech 1, and all but Meta is well accounted for. My boardās meaty enough to survive Meta if paired with a tower, so weāll go with that and hope he doesnāt draw it outright (a fetch means only on 2 heroes, manageable.)

i made a simple mistake, believineg that despite discord, laxx+ tower would kill both fencers. ok, then ur tech I is still @3 and both fencer are online

This really looks bad, did not expect Discord of all things. I need to get this Omegacron down to have any shot, but that means no tower + Injunction. Heās low on cards at least. Weāll see how this goes but I donāt like my odds. Definitely going to need a judgement day, and a soul stone will probably help against Meta and Discord? Hard to say [/details]
