Technically, he discards randomly first, then draws, as the random discard is part of shadow blade’s resolution.

I thought Bigby’s death triggers two simultaneous events, and the active player chooses their order.
Fine by me, but it’s not that obvious.

They are both on death triggers, and he is correct that it can be either order in a standard game afaik. They have said that if the game goes electronic, such things will be given orders of precedence for online play.

@cstick is correct. Codex uses a queue for resolving multiple effects, not a stack, and things cannot resolve in the middle of other things (the only exception is Smoker). So shadow blade has to completely finish before the technician draw happens.

Whoa, breaking through this seems to be too expensive.

I didn’t read necromancer carefully enough, you do not, because necromancer says “another”. My bad! :smiley:

For the purposes of Sacrifice the Weak and the like, when Quince’s Mirror copies something, does it retain its Tech0 level or it gets the techlevel of the thing it copies?
