River? No Water Elemental, then. Tempting to deploy the Nullcraft, then, and start picking away at the Tenderfoot. There’s a few problems with that, though. He can respond to protect it, if nothing else, by patrolling SQL. A Tower would also be bad news, plus, main reason for going River would be to take advantage of Finesse spells, notably, Discord. Better to try to muscle her into submission, instead.
