Thanks flangles, you are correct on the balance of it. Probably ends up way closer to 50-50 simply because of the P1 advantage for each side. Reinforces for me that the correct distribution of Codex should have been Blue + White and Black + Purple
You still up for more? I’m out of the tournament so I’ll be fine to return to a more normal pace again. I’m definitely game to see if I can find a solution to P2 White in this matchup, but also can look at something else perhaps?
I have a starter change for Blue that I quite like, seems to even things up a lot vs Black. You fancy playing it vs some other colours to see how it plays?

Frozen and I are still testing with the stats reduced to 1/1 1 but my suspicion is that it will need the 1/2 and/or removal of the Arrives: Exhausted part to help vs Black P1. I’m game to keep the profile at 1/2 and give it a spin with you. Against Green or Purple or Red perhaps? Vote what you fancy

Okay, I feel fine about this. We’ve got plenty of resources while Hugh is struggling. I have also mitigated Calamandra’s Stealth while replenishing my hand. Sucks to lose the Aven, but I did get some damage out of it and I’m just not mad at that.
