Hmmmmmm, I can’t quite get through to destroy Tech II, but I can clear the board pretty effectively. Since he’s got Snapback and I really need to worker AND Build Tech II, I’m not going to maxband Onimaru. If my draws had been different with Boot Camp, I could have workered and built Tech II, but, alas, I’m cycling through cards pretty well so I think I can soak skipping a worker.

That Newsman is causing me all sorts of bother here, if I could only Thunderclap then Oni would be toast. Best I can manage right now is to fill my patrol and see what comes of it. Definitely messed up my tech choices here but then it is a learning game.

Hmmmm, I’m not quite sure what to try and block. I think this early in the game 1 will catch more things. He could have Safe Attacking and Martial Mastery and blocking those seems good. I guess if I see Reversal than I should be concerned about True Power of Storms.

Tech break now? Sure let’s try that, even if it’s really bad for handsize. Annoyingly with Lookout I can’t get Rook or Setsuki into play for free levels should be want to trade Bigby in. So I guess best I can do is patrol Grave in SQL so that he would have to maxband Bigby to actually trade with Grave. He might still go for it honestly but at least it’s not very efficient.

Took me far too long to get Rook out and then I had to waste Sword Rune on Newsie. At least this way I ensure he can’t kill Rook or break any buildings. Yes he can kill Grave but I did get quite a lot of value from him. Skipping worker again feels bad but I need to avoid dropping to two cards. Also Sensei’s advice is really good with birds.

Bluecoat Musketeer Change - Replace ability with “1g → Deal 1 damage to a unit or hero without flying. Once per turn.”
Hmmmm, I didn’t see the Tech Break. Oops. Oh well, he gave me Bigby and that let’s me set up quite nicely for next round. He can certain kills the Overeager Cadet and Sword Rune my Spectral Aven and while that would be annoying, I can live with it.
