I believe the Overpower damage would need to target something else that is in the patrol zone. If there is nothing else in the patrol zone then it can go elsewhere.

Overpower damage has to carry over to another patroller if there are any.
Sorry, forgot to place the link.
Flying and Overpower.
I have Void Star.
Enemy patrol is: SQL Wisp, Elite Huntress. Hero is not in patrol.
Can Void Star use overpower to kill Wisp and deal excess damage to Hero not in patrol? Since Void Star is a flyer, it could’ve attacked the hero in the first place.
If #1 is possible, will excess overpower damage dealt to the hero trigger Huntress’ anti-air fire? Or does she only react to intial attack (which wasn’t “flying over” her)?
Yes, and it takes no damage.
The idea is overpower damage goes to whatever the unit with overpower could have attaked. And fliers can attack anything (provided there aren’t any more fliers patrolling).
