Drew the firebird, good times. Ok, so I can play Crash Bomber and Firebird, don’t put Firebird in patrol (in case of Reversal) then patrol Crash Bomber and Bombaster = 2 patrollers vs 2 potential attackers. Not accounting for haste. But he’s playing Ninjutsu…What to do with Jaina? I could - have her attack and do a little damage, then die and fizzle levels. Seems pretty bad, but maybe this is the case for that play. I could ping Tech II, setting up for a Firebird break + 1 damage to all her stuff. That seems good, but really telegraphed. Last I could MAX Jaina then shoot something for 3, probably IPN. That doesn’t guarantee a tech break next turn AND seems like a waste of gold. 3 gold could be a Tower. What good is a Tower right now? Well, it damages guys like Glorious Ninja, who usually don’t get damaged. It spots stealth in case he’s got Setsuki + Hidden Ninja + Speed of the Fox. Seems pretty unlikely, but who knows? I’m gonna go for it anyway, he’s going to need to attack or do something. Also, I could worker the Rambaster, but I think getting an extra draw next turn is more important than the extra gold at this point…

Agreed, this game is very interesting and will undoubtedly finish so!

I think Hiring Jade Fox just kills IPN, since she adds 5 units to the board.

@NikoBolas have finally corrected the turn. I did not bother to redraw since my draw amount didn’t change and no shuffling or anything. Just changed target for IPN and changed patrol/listed ninjas

The porcupines should both have 1 damage listed on them from the previous bombing run. Also, Jade Fox in this particular scenario represents a really annoying/good defender for my molting birds. Fortunately, I have the tools to deal with her (though it ain’t cheap!).

Problem is, 1st scenarion I crush both his tech buildings but leave Graves alive to kill Jaina (and probably Drakk). Second scenario I kill graves and tech III, but that lets him summon tech II stuff like Glorious Ninja. I might be overthinking this, but at the same time if he is going to turn this around, it’s going to be soon! Graves alive means that Reversal I’ve been nervous about all game might come into play too. I could level Drakk before the firebirds attack, have 1 attack Tech II for 5 and the other kill Graves. This would leave his tech III up, but I’m really only terrified of another Jade Fox appearance. Here’s my rationale - Tech II represents a lot of things I don’t want to see him play - Glorious Ninja, Lightning Dragon off the tech lab, Fox’s Den School (which I know he tech’d in a previous Ninjutsu game). Tech III represents exactly 1 thing I’m worried about - 2nd Jade Fox. First, he might have only tech’d 1. Second, he might have drawn both. Third, He might have tech’d Daigo with Tech Lab, not Lightning Dragon, and I’m not scared of Daigo. Basically, both Tech III options represent non-hasty responses. Of course, with 2 Porcupines, he can just kill Drakk and Jaina “normally”, but that doesn’t do much to stop my Firebirds from winning. I guess the real question is how do I see myself doing the last 16 points of damage? Double Firebird attack will win in 2 turns from this point. Of course, Graves can target a Firebird with his sword too, especially if the Porcupines are sniping my heroes. I think killing tech II and graves is correct, Jade Fox is his only out from that position. A huge Rook doesn’t matter, Sets can just get sniped, Daigo is slowwww, and Jade Fox is just more defensive play. Jade Fox is really bad for me if he has the second copy though…

This was a really difficult turn for me, haha. Lots of choices on what to worry about the most. Crazy game! Also, just a reminder that I have a Tower - it doesn’t matter at all for bookkeeping but IPN died when he attacked BRO.

Ahhh you’re right! I did that turn a lot and kept changing my mind about how to order things. Of course if I can’t mid-band drake in the first place, should be much easier :wink:

Drakk is mid-band so he gives firebird #2 frenzy which is good for the 5th poInt to tech 2.
