The porcupines should both have 1 damage listed on them from the previous bombing run. Also, Jade Fox in this particular scenario represents a really annoying/good defender for my molting birds. Fortunately, I have the tools to deal with her (though it ain’t cheap!).

Hmm, breaking his tech II is looking more useful now. Why did I target his tech III with Jaina?? Oh yeah, didn’t think he would have his tech III on time. Haha, well I coul break his tech II building by summoning and immediately mid-banding Drakk, giving the second Firebird Frenzy. It also puts another damage on Porcupine thanks to Crash Bombers sacrifife (RIP friend). The alternative is just hiring a Gunpoint Taxman and kill graves, denying him the sword throw to kill Jaina. Problem is, 1st scenarion I crush both his tech buildings but leave Graves alive to kill Jaina (and probably Drakk). Second scenario I kill graves and tech III, but that lets him summon tech II stuff like Glorious Ninja. I might be overthinking this, but at the same time if he is going to turn this around, it’s going to be soon! Graves alive means that Reversal I’ve been nervous about all game might come into play too. I could level Drakk before the firebirds attack, have 1 attack Tech II for 5 and the other kill Graves. This would leave his tech III up, but I’m really only terrified of another Jade Fox appearance. I managed to kill her once, but I’m not sure a second time would be as easy, considering all my burn-y bois just died. He seems to have gone for some kind of greedy tech III rush? Or was the discipline tech lab in response to the firebird to tech in Lightning Dragons? They almost always trade… Hmmm. Going to try and do the same thing I did in my bad turn, gotta kill Graves first to level Drakk, then 2nd bird can hit Tech II.

Here’s my rationale - Tech II represents a lot of things I don’t want to see him play - Glorious Ninja, Lightning Dragon off the tech lab, Fox’s Den School (which I know he tech’d in a previous Ninjutsu game). Tech III represents exactly 1 thing I’m worried about - 2nd Jade Fox. First, he might have only tech’d 1. Second, he might have drawn both. Third, He might have tech’d Daigo with Tech Lab, not Lightning Dragon, and I’m not scared of Daigo. Basically, both Tech III options represent non-hasty responses. Of course, with 2 Porcupines, he can just kill Drakk and Jaina “normally”, but that doesn’t do much to stop my Firebirds from winning. I guess the real question is how do I see myself doing the last 16 points of damage? Double Firebird attack will win in 2 turns from this point. Of course, Graves can target a Firebird with his sword too, especially if the Porcupines are sniping my heroes. I think killing tech II and graves is correct, Jade Fox is his only out from that position. A huge Rook doesn’t matter, Sets can just get sniped, Daigo is slowwww, and Jade Fox is just more defensive play. Jade Fox is really bad for me if he has the second copy though…
This was a really difficult turn for me, haha. Lots of choices on what to worry about the most. Crazy game! Also, just a reminder that I have a Tower - it doesn’t matter at all for bookkeeping but IPN died when he attacked BRO.
