Thoughts

Okay, I have to choose between building a replacement Sanatorium or teching up. In either case, I probably don’t have a lot of time left before his Tech III goes up. The Sanatorium is tempting because it won’t be available after this turn, but the Tech III is more likely to be effective at damaging his buildings, especially with the Aven out of the way. A tough call when my deck is thick enough that I don’t have a good idea which cards will be available next turn. Hmm… supposing I do go with the Sanatorium and get a Disciple draw, how useful would that be…? Pretty useful, I suppose, but at this late stage of the game, probably not useful enough unless I also got a Jurisdiction to enable a Distortion. So, I guess I’ll just gamble on the Gunship.

Thoughts

My gamble didn’t pay off, but as long as I can keep my Tech III intact, I have a decent chance for next turn. I’m short on gold, though, and those Mirror Illusions are a big problem now. I probably need Judgment Day to reset the board… which means keeping Bigby in reserve. And of course, Zane draws one of my Gunships, making it much less likely to get one when I need it. Well, it probably doesn’t matter anyway, as I don’t expect my base to survive much longer.

Thoughts

Would have been better off going for Detonate again, but I wasn’t sure he would take the kill. As it is, I have to remove Onimaru… not a simple task… because otherwise, he’ll just smash the Tech II. I want to guard against MTruth… but the Soldier’s sparkshot makes that too awkward. Guess I’ll aim for Agonauts, given their relatively high base stats for tech I units.
