could have summoned Zane and used Charge on Taxman to kill Geiger… but I’d go down in handsize too quickly… have seen in a recent game against NikoBolas how annoying this can be

Thoughts
do i tech in burning volley if i max Jaina? what about origin story? he won’t be able to summon a second hero unless he builds a heroes’ hall… and that will take one turn to build… so he would have to sacrifice vir… i’ll take the risk, burning volley is instant destruction of a tech building after all…
I tend to think you’re right about Octavian, it’s unlikely I’ll get him (It? her, maybe?) out soon enough to trigger the ability. Burning the 8 gold to use his ability I see as not a bad trade, because it basically eliminates opponent’s patrol zone. Of course, I’ve never used the big squid, figured I’d give Present a chance.
Fortunately I didn’t have any Tech II in my hand this turn, so losing the Tech II building wasn’t THAT bad. I suspect, though, the end is near.

Yep, you’re right on both counts. I had originally planned to attack with the Argonaut before realizing the Tower would kill him. I’ve updated that and the base damage.

Unfortunately no Hyperion…not this time, anyway. Still, I think this turned out quite well. Of course, if you summon the Pirate Gunship this turn, it’s over.
I really debated about those last three Tricycloid shots: I could have killed the Monkey and given you a card, or shot the base directly, or damaged the Tech building to make it easier to break next turn, or saved it and not used Temporal Distortion. I was really tempted to wait…but if the Gunship came out they’d be lost, and at least this way I get some use out of them.
