GG. This was fun. Not sure I had much else to do - perhaps if I teched assimilate a bit earlier, I could have disrupted your cycle. Once you rolled on with your entire deck and the sargents - it was too late.
I enjoyed it though. I like purple.
You perhaps need to work on planning ahead a little better. You built Tech II on turn 4, but didn’t have anything to play with it, as you only teched in Tech II units that turn, so it took 2 turns for them to cycle into your hand (although in fairness, I didn’t do a great jub of teching in this game either). You should be aiming to build Tech II and then draw units to play with that Tech II at the end of the turn. Otherwise, you’re paying 4 gold for no gain (and are usually fighting against your opponents Tech II units with your Tech I units).
Yeah, I don’t have the flow of the game settled in my mind. I felt pressured to go up to tech 2, not sure why. I thought I had to get Xenostalker to take out your garrisons, but actually also went for the assimilate - I’m still kinda flailing around trying things out. Thanks for the game!
