@NikoBolas …at least you didn’t Earthquake me… that was my main concern… but I can’t get rid of the Entangling Vines - even if I somehow kill Rook, right? So I gotta sacrifice Yesterday’s Golgort to bring him back into play?
Yeah, I think unless you have some way to bounce Yesterday’s Golgort back to your hand, it pretty much removes him from the game, at least in this match-up.
edit: I was too worried you would tech in Origin Story and bounce Rook to tech in Earthquake…though I did consider it a few turns
I indeed teched Origin Story, but didn’t get it in my hand up to now… allready got hit hard by White with Discipline and Training Grounds… so Origin Story was set from the beginning

sorry for my mistakes… but i’ll learn. up to now there shouldn’t have been any game changing errors. i could have Fading Argonaut in hand now… actually i would be glad about that, then i would have an easy choice for a worker… really slow here… what about your tech III?
Haha, don’t stress the mistakes. This is just casual. It took me a few games to get used to the spreadsheet and the rules. Tech III??? I just played my first Tech II… Double Sensei’s Advice was really lucky…

Haha, sorry I’m not that good and I play pretty safe! I think in the early turns you should spend your gold more aggressively! P1 has to be aggressive otherwise P2 will have more resources AND a gold advantage. I try to get as much power on the board in the early turns as possible. I think a tower would have really helped you out at some point too!

Also I think the Entangling Vines stay on the Golgort indefinitely. It isn’t a channeling spell like Bird’s Nest, so you don’t get to put the Golgort back in your deck (and my entangling vines stay in play, unable to target someone new). I could be wrong though, it’s my first time using that card!
Tech 0 card(s)
Get Paid - ($11)
Whitestar Grappler ‘throws’ Fading Argonaut, dealing 4 damage to it and killing him. You draw a card.
Graves casts Versatile Style, choosing disable a flier, targetting Shimmer Ray. - ($9)
Graves casts Sensei’s Advice on the birds. - ($8)
Colossus (6/7) attacks your base
Graves levels to 7 - ($4)
Graves (4/5) attacks your base, along with two (2/1) birds, finishing it!
If you’d like to play another round, I could always use more practice!
Edit: Realized I need to cast Versatile Style to disable your Shimmer Ray so birds can attack base.
