Thoughts

Virtuosos go nicely into both Finesse II and Growth II, due to the shared haste. Might of Leaf and Claw can be blocked by Reputable Newsman, however, if flagrant can protect it. I think I still want Law as a side spec: Insurance Agents are always nice, and a little more practical with Fencers than with cheap Lobbers; Censorship Council is nice against both Peace and Truth spam engines. I wonder whether that makes Law II the way to go in a Blue mirror.

I have 3, 2, 1 (long range), and 0 attack, with a possible +1 buff from Argagarg if I don’t pop something instead. Flagrant has 3, 3, 1, 2, 2 (flying) health in patrol. Censorship Council costs 4, something to keep in mind if I might draw it off of insurance. Scribe is flagrant’s only patroller where I’d benefit from insuring it.

It looks like flagrant is going to rapidly outpace me on board size, if he can recover his hand. Given he has at least one Scribe, he probably can. I’d like to go for Appel Stomp to take out all those illusions, but I’m wondering it’s worth going for Argagarg buffs on a Justice Juggernaut instead. The only problem is that it’ll be relatively easy to kill under Dreamscape. Oh, I can just take Blooming Ancients, right? Then they can pop things with their runes.

Bluecoat Musketeer is the only unit I can get insurance on this turn. Not sure what I’d want to run it into. I’ll run him into the Musketeer instead of playing Arrest, so I’ve got plenty of gold in preparation for whatever I draw.

I’d really like to take Appel Stomp here, for both popping illusions and hand management, even if it’s going to be a few turns before I can use them. Other alternatives are Injunction, and Argagarg spells. Oh, I should probably bring in the other Starlet, actually. I’ll go with Starlet and Scribe, to keep my hand size up later and get more popping runes out. If the game still looks grim later, I can tech spells in then.
