Ready or Not, that really was exactly the card he had to have! I have Moments Peace next turn but insufficient options to patrol with to protect my Tech II. Best to make Orpal a horror to deal with to try and limit his ability to tech break. Hoping that lets me get the breathing space I need, hopefully without losing two tech buildings. His gold float and Tech II will let him get Prynn into play and that’s bad news for my Flyers. Does he have Seer for enough time runes to trash them both though?

Thoughts
This is such a close game! Mimic getting Prynned I assume here. A lot rests on what he’s got in hand. Thought about base rush down, but Mimic is surely getting Prynned here anyway, and he has a ton of Geiger spells in deck so I want to maximise the chance Midori survives, since he combos so damn well with my remaining Moments’ Peace and Mimic
I know he has TD in so even with a Moments’ Peace in hand those Void Stars are an existential crisis. Lets trade everything in to get rid of them and give him a crisis of his own to worry about! Drawing 5/6 cards with one copy of D&D is an 83% chance I have it in hand. Admittedly I’d likely be 1 damage off lethal but I also have the chance of Brick Thief in my next hand!
I just noticed this turn, thinking “how do you still have so many cards” that you indeed had an extra card.
This only would’ve mattered if you’d drawn the moment’s peace from the reshuffle though.
I’ve gone back and looked through as that would be devastating for what’s been a tremendous game.
The end of turn hand looks correct, it’s just a residual “Discard 2” leftover from when I mistakenly thought I could play two heroes and a Basilisk with no Tech II (no idea what I was thinking).
I ended turn 10 with 3 cards, got Technician draw in your turn 11, then maxed Orpal and Bloomed him, so that should read Discard 3. Apologies that I missed the discard part when I fixed my mess.
Now that I’ve cleared that up, Orpal has something for you, and you’re really not going to like it
