At the same time I have to make see for the tournament to progress. Hence Iā€™m going to rule @Unity to have won this game unless we receive any feedback from you until 12 oā€™clock CEST tomorrow (Monday).
I was really hoping for you to finish this game normally, but we have to go onā€¦

So unfortunately here it is. According to the rules about:

Iā€™m going to rule that @Unity is the winner of this match. As there is no way ever for this match to fall back into the other direction it is a way easier decision for me. Thanks a lot for participating in this tournament @keybounce it was a pleasure. And obviously the most important aspect: all the best for your recovery!

PS: Iā€™ve never seen a match where present actually requires tech 3 for winning as it has so much burst with tech 2 together with maxband max flicker and TD. With one Hyperion on the table a single TD is all you need to transform the Hyperion into 15 Hyperion damage for only 7 Gold in case of a battle suit being on the table. Itā€™s even 20 damage it you get your max to maxband. Also TD into omegacron really is bad news for any opponent being slightly behindā€¦

As for Tech 3, my tech 3 is one turn faster ā€“ as soon as I remember it onto the board, it does its thing without needing to wait a turn to tap. So I did not count myself out just yet.

EDIT:i still have covid. My symptoms are down to stuffed nose, post nasal drip, and voice going dead. See if the doctor tomorrow morning can give me anything or not.

Really? Let me point out that I could have ā€“ I reliazed this misplay after posting that ā€“ I could have remembered a yesterdayā€™s golgart. At that point, the shimmer ray hits the squad leader twice, golgart (still starts the turn in play, as it arrives when the time rune comes off rememberer) takes out the tech building, and gets a another turn/time rune.

Donā€™t count pastā€™s memory trick out too quickly.

This unfortunately is not how it works. During your opponents turn you cannot make any choices and hence all effects that would require choices just fizzle.

Please do note that your tech 1 also is down

Pretty sure his tech 1 is still alive, just damaged.
No remembering on opponentā€™s turn though, thatā€™s true.

no. you canā€™t. all cards that require a choice fizzle during the opponentā€™s turn because you canā€™t make any. Itā€™s their turn.
