Thoughts

Leading on Geiger > Troq here, since Bloom in next hand gives the same stats as midbanding Troq anyway, and Geiger works better with planned Fencers. Planning on teching both Fencers next turn, then going for some mix of TD/R&D/Finesse Tech 2.

For spectators: this match is played with a balance patch that can be found in this post

Thanks for that @zango

Should be an interesting tourney! I haven’t thought too much about this other than Midbandori could do cool things, as could new Troq and Growth T2…

Don’t forget your 1 base damage. Also, that’s a lot of workers!

I don’t know why he’s offering up Troq here, but I’m happy to take the kill. I’m going to hold off on playing Tenderfoot here for handsize reasons, plus floating the extra gold lets me do 3 2 cost things next turn (Fencer + maxband Geiger + something else).

Thoughts

So I’m always using Fencer + Tenderfoot to kill SQL, Geiger to kill Midori and maxband, then Fencer to kill turtle. The main question is what to do with the rest of my gold. I think I’m going to build a Heroes’ Hall here to work on recouping my hand size, and so I can take advantage of any heroes he might want to play as chump blockers. I’ll tech R&D/TD now, planning to go into Finesse, but with the option to switch to Present next turn if I change my mind.

Well didn’t expect heat that hot… Oh well. Intimidate can effectively replace Wither, and Wandering Mimic should be cool against the haste I’m likely to see. Faerie Dragon might be a better choice but we’ll wait on that a moment and see

I think you have one too many cards? You should have only discarded 2 drawn 4. The extra can be your technician card for this turn.

Thoughts

I didn’t expect Tiny Basilisk. Luckily, Wither lets me get a good trade here. I don’t like playing out the messenger here, but if I put tenderfoot in SQL and he has wither, then Troq gets to kill Geiger, which is not good for me. Hopefully I draw into R&D to recoup my cards, but if not I can play double hero next turn.

You are correct and yeah, I’ll just leave it w/ the techn yeah.

With Geiger intimidated, no reason not to fish for a new card here…
I draw R&D, which lets me go bananas with Maestro. Surely this is GG.

GG WP to that, I’m dead :skull: @zango

Finesse continues to be trouble it seems, I like the new intimidate though! That wither on Tiny B was key, I hadn’t considered it, think I’m gonna have to learn how to get rolling much faster on this deck

R&D with maestro was really a nice move. Bravo.

Agreed, I was in turbo “let Geiger maxband, who cares” mode but R&D + Finesse T2 is straight nasty schemin’

GG. A funny quirk of PbP is that when you scroll down and see a turn of that length, you know you’re probably screwed before you even read it.
