Like Strength last time and Vandy the time before. Looks like it’s best to think two steps or no steps ahead of the last tourney.

feels like a strong play, leaving myself with a very thin deck. deciding between tax collector scribe reversal or crashbomber was kind of hard. nothing I have besides rambasas really trades that well vs bone collectors. tax collector with the steal could be very nice, plus in elite it will trade with a BC… petE seems to like scav a lot, so I think i’ll try tax collector as I should have more opportunities than not to play it for cheap.

Maxing my Grave to sword his 2/2 Grave doesn’t seem enough of a value trade to delay Tech1. So doing the straightforward Tech1 build instead. Floating gold rather than levelling Grave to mid since Reversal would give him a Grave kill in either case.
Teching Bone Collector and Reversal. With Injunction threat this game, will need good balance of Tech1s, Tech2s and spells. Reversal also useful to clear a unit if he goes for Insurance Agents - Rambasa Twins.

Grave killed your Sensei last turn
Super dumb mistake. Will have to wait till later tonight to fix
@ericF am I supposed to redo the tech draw, or keep the same tech draw from the first turn?
Krep the same tech draw, since that happened before the error, but re-do the EOT draws, of course.

Tax Inspector pretty good when it hits – with the $2 swing it’s effectively a zero cost 2/3.
Missed both my techs, so with nothing great to play from hand I’ll max Grave to sword his hero while killing SQL (glad it’s a decent unit not just Smoker). Floating gold again, hopefully he didn’t tech a second Tax Inspector (think Rambasa Twins more likely).
Teching a Crashbarrow and Bloodlust. Plan for Tech2 Blood, maybe with Tech Lab Discipline (YLDs / Mind Parry Monk) or Heroes Hall (Injunction activity).

I saw two lines here: one to go for midband drakk and clear his board and end with a maxed drakk, but it didnt really take full advantage of the max drakk. my main gameplan with this deck is to go rambasa + insurance agent, but I feel like being the first one to threaten crashbarrows will be pretty good here.

Down to 3 cards, not great in a card-hungry Blood mirror. But should get a card back when he kills Grave, and can build the hand further next turn by maxing Garth for a Crashbarrow.
Building a Tech Lab Discipline with some of the spare cash. Should keep him guessing, and give me a good range of options whenever I use Garth’s max (eg YLD if it lines up with Bloodlust, Mind Parry Monk if I need kidnap protection, Rambasa Twins if I’m shut out of Tech2). Meanwhile I’ve 2 Bone Collectors and Bloodlust in deck for a decent Tech1 option.
[/spoiler][/details]
I’m killing your Grave and will be casting martial mastery afterwards, can you do your tech draw and show it, please.
Tech draw is Sensei’s Advice, to add to Bloodlust, Smoker, Reversal. Not exactly unit-heavy !
thats a bummer with the bloodlust in there :\

got pretty lucky not drawing the crashbarrow in my deck. hard decision on what to worker, I feel like since I’ve got the upper hand I probably won’t need snapback, BUT he is likely to spend a ton of gold on a hero next turn.

Not a good draw for me, would have liked the spells (Reversal, Bloodlust) still in deck for the next 2 turns when I may be shut out of tech buildings from Crashbarrow destruction and/or Injunction. Just see what I can do blocking up the patrol zone and taking in the scav/tech bonuses, and hope he draws a dud hand at some point.
As well as being P1 (which has to be an advantage here, throw that Crashbarrow first!), he’s done a better job than me of managing draws and hand size. Though he didn’t need Martial Mastery to find the Crashbarrow this time, that along with Scribe are smart techs to even out draw variance.
