My Thoughts
Bottom-decked my best answer to that board (reversal), so that kinda blows… Still, getting Vandy and Orpal out feels like it will lead to success moving forward, as I can tell he’s teched spells for both of them and plans on having them around. Rook will likely die for it but I can manage that so long as I’m keeping a bird, Grave and SP, which I almost certainly will be able to.
Wow. Straight up newborn brained the possibility of Nether Drain and the fact that Jandra has overpower… I’ll play this out but I’d love to see if this were to stay closer had I properly SQL Rook there
I think you have a misconception about this game being close. That last turn would have created a blow out if you hadn’t made a mistake To be fair, thinking I would have nether drain should have been highly improbable.

All we can do now is our best to contain the damage. Grave should probably survive (dead to sickness + shadow blade, so lookout patrol sounds best). Sucks to lose my birdie but at least I still have one
Right now, this is close. The other two games were thoroughly not close. You could very easily still bring out just 1 right card or just do a hero play I don’t have the right answer to and I’d probably be out on this game too. I’m not saying 1g deteriorate is the problem, maybe I’m just having issues with this matchup. But there’s certainly something causing trouble.

No, other birdie! The play here seems reasonably obvious: kill Orpal and something else with a sword. The only choice is between PS and Vandy. As much as I want the PS gone, Vandy is clearly the priority. We’ll patrol rook in Elite so at least he has to lose the PS to take him down.
…
Wow, fantastic rs draw, I’ll have some solid combat options if GN survives
Kicking your butt? I’m P1 and I feel like I’m constantly playing catchup on the board. It feels like my tech plan was weak and you have all the answers lol
I feel an outside observer should be even better at seeing how badly I’m losing

Thoughts
Grave and rook out means I’m safe ish, so one ninja will die here if the other wants to get through though not if he has speed of the fox but even then Setsuki would die attacking PBR.
I’m starting to suspect he must have workered Sac the Weak, either that or he’s had rotten draw luck. Well I have some cover for the ninja from another Hoodie if that’s the case. I kinda have to kill dozer and not tower, which leaves me vulnerable to sickness and doom grasp and such. Possible with all the -/- stuff he has in the deck he has Spreading Plague as well? I’m going to make Mario invisible to reduce the number of targets for sickness and increase my chances of sneaking more stuff through, as I don’t have much other use for the gold (I could make a tower I suppose? Hmm, maybe that’s actually better. Means Vandy can’t kill a Rambasa for free)
