Seems like he has a super aggresive/attack oriented codex, which is good for me being p1. Need to keep pressure. Seems like his most likely T1 unit choices all trade well against nimble fencer, and I don’t see any good reason to use Plague spitter, so Rambasa/Sparring combo it is.

Thoughts
I don’t have a good trade for his board yet, but he’ll be hard pressed to keep off what I can do next turn with skeletons once his Patrol gets stacked up (allows for sparkshot kill). Really hard tech choices, I really want to see what he teched in… afraid a lot of his T1 choices could trump fencer, but seems like some haste will be good to unclog this board. I think Grave is pretty safe, so I could put in some spells for him, but I think I would rather have Orpal spells, or even Discord to clean out skeles and give me easy trades.

I just decided to play with Anarchy so I don’t have to build the tech lab at a later time. Anarchy is probably still playable in the midgame here. I got to keep the Necro and rez probably the best possible target, so that’s one positional advantage locked in.[/Details]

just like I feared, Nimble fencer trades like dog shit with his line-up. I deliberated a lot on this turn, I really didnt want to skip worker yet again but I didn’t want to leave my patrol zone wide-open, as its a very high chance he’ll have a pretty serious amount of haste damage on deck next turn. I do think my Gorgons will trade well with his line-up and Aboms will probably be hard for him to deal with- even if he’s using some sort of haste-stealth bullshit an Abom will dampen their impact. A tower or Versatile style should start hitting pretty soon… actually I’ll just get one versatile style in now.
