Well I’ve got no way to stop Nullcraft from getting through on your turn, so GG WP! Yeah, P1 purple definitely maintained control of that game throughout. I sorta managed to rush Tech II, but it didn’t really help to turn things around.
I’m back from holidays now, and should be posting more frequently.

yeah, im thinkink if green can’t stop purple from getting to tech 2, then making sure the hyperion trades is ke. that way purple can’t get all that value from geiger maxband and temporal distorition.
now let’s see what i can do with purple as player 2.

Hmm… I’m expecting Battle Suits and hopefully I can trash it with Nature Reclaims next turn. Wouldn’t mind if Stewardess bounces Tiger Cub here as I could use the hand size. We’ll have to see what happens.
Right! Sorry, I conflated two options I had planned and ended up borfing things up. I have edited my turn. Essentially I summoned Arg instead of Midori, And Arg is now patrolling in place of Cal.
no worries! happens to me all the time. i do find it a little odd leaving Cal on the board for nullcraft to hit. i have a feeling i might be walking into a trap…

im going to try a slightly different route with purple player 2 tech 2 here. let’s see if i can get value from it before akiata does too much with those hero’s.
Haha, it is certainly unnerving when your opponent leaves an opening that seems too easy to exploit. In this case, I don’t think you have too much to worry about though. Interested to see how you press your tech II advantage here.

Well, I’m really wondering where Battle Suits has got to here… Taking some board advantage here instead of going Tech II.
Yeah, I retconned my T3 to hire Arg instead of Midori. But then, perplexingly in T4 I referenced Midori when casting a spell (in fact, Midori wasn’t in play, and it would have been Arg who cast).
I’m pleased to hear that it confused you, it’s all cunning chicanery (and certainly not silly mistakes) on my part designed to keep you off balance.

…Hmm, codexnewb must have whiffed on his tech II cards - pretty unlucky, but I can count on some serious pain next turn.
…I won’t be seeing any Tech 2 cards next turn, so no point building it just yet.
…I feel like I’ve managed to counter a goodly amount of Purple’s options here, but it’s tough to cover everything.
…I’ll have Arg’s ult next turn, so here’s hoping I have some units left to cast it on!
…Opting to play Galina instead of hiring a worker. I mean, simply no way that could backfire on me.
…Bullet point inside details sections are hard to do!
Tech 0 card(s)

Worker - ($7)
Merfolk Prospector (1/1) walks in, he can tell something’s going on, but doesn’t know what - ($6)
Argagarg, apparently oblivious to the awkwardness, having the time of his life (bless him) uses his midband on Water Bastard again.
Argagarg goes full cringe, takes his pants (robes?) off and attempts to start a naked run. Worse still, several others (mostly tokens though) join the Stampede! - ($0)
Water Bastard (now 7/3+AAAA) runs straight into Tricycloid, who goes down. Bastard takes 2 damage after armour.
Cal’s keeping her clothes on thankyouverymuch, and has a private chat with Geiger. He dies (real talk!) Cal maxbands and heals.
Wisp (now 3/1+AAA), normally pretty quiet at parties, runs straight over Tinkerer who doesn’t get up, and (stampeding) smacks your base to 19.
Huntress (now 6/2+AAA) knows how to party, she breaks your Tech II building, your base to 17.
Float ($0)

Wisp “It really is better to give than receive” (0/1, Resist 1)
Tech 2 break means he can’t play that hyperion in his hand, which is nice not to have to worry about. Nullcraft, stewardess would clear up my board a bit, and I’m expecting at least one Argnoaut. Need to get my act together and pay for Tech II at some point.

Thoughts
Well, having played a buncha games vs green, I did not expect to have these heroes actually SURVIVE and thus have built for Tech II, rather than Ultimate spells. We’ll chalk this up to a Character Building Learning Opportunity™. Ugh, back to worrying about all the Present shenanigans that can now come out. Pruple’s got enough fundd to power a scary amount of options, and I don’t quite have the resources to counter them all.
Depending on what codexnewb’s holding this could be a turning point.
Well that’s a nice hand to be holding if my Tech II building survives…
