I’ve never thought the MU was terrible for Rook. It’s tense, but it’s nowhere near awful. Perse simply doesn’t have enough HP to make it awful. I wasn’t a very good Rook, but I’m fairly sure I was going at least 50/50 in that MU even in my very early days.

One of my wishes for 3rd Edition is that every EX character gets a second D-rank card and the player chooses one of them before starting the game, with Rook’s alternate Destiny card just being…
A dodge.
No abilities, just a completely normal dodge.
Because that seems like the kind of thing that on any other character would seem pointless but for Rook specifically would feel like breaking the rules. Finally, Rook has discovered the secret art of Moving Fast™!

Call his D dodge “backdash”. Personally I don’t consider Troq v Persephone especially bad.

My take is Perse goes even or loses slightly vs Troq (4.5 or 5), slight advantage vs Rook and Grave (5.5).
Her best MUs are definitely Arg and Geiger.
