Decently good chance Art of War is coming and Iām going to get behind, lucky for him he got what he needed and I didnāt get deteriorate but that was a very solid defense regardless. Wouldnāt be at all surprised if he goes art of war + tech 2 straight awayā¦ this map is not great at all [/details]

Hmm, this is a bit of a problem. I donāt have readiness without midband, and he can break whatever with his bone collector and imp unless i level up to midband. I canāt build tech 2 cause I donāt have tech 1, but midbanding means no tech 1 still, but building the tech 1 will just get it destroyed next turn, unless I skip workerā¦ Very likely he techs up and I get all new problems.

Ugh, well, shoulda expected dozer, but still. If he goes for carrion curse, joke will be on him, heh. Maybe garth is the right one to kill, in that caseā¦? on the off chance he has sac and doom grasp, it forces him to go for carrion curseā¦ Heh, almost thought vandy could hit the dozer with doom, but right, only tech 0 and 1.

My opinion of this map, blue has an advantage because of free speech and the relatively cheap ultimates. The map encourages spell techs. Carrion curse can be a good counter, I think, but free speech has more utility and is 1g cheaper.

Next one seems terrible for blue, but should be interesting anyway.
VORTOSS RUINS: Players canāt build the heroesā hall or tech lab add-ons, but automatically get their effects.
For the free Tech Lab, my thought is that a second tech spec is chosen when the tech 2 is built. If you want to change a spec later, spend 1g and take 2 base damage.
Yeah this map I think is very much in Blackās favor (auto heroās hall early is free gold and pressure for black), though I can see having easier access to Quince for Free Speech and Truth T2 + Peace T2 might work out in your favor? Or it could just be a P1 benefit? Letās see!

Well, this is just a terrible hand. I suppose I could put out Bigby midband and he would survive, but it wouldnāt be very productive the following turn. On the other handā¦ I could throw out both Oni and Bigby, block with bigby, the free levels to vandy kinda suck, but he only gets those by midbanding, and his 1g blocker is already down, so Oni would actually get to respond a bit more effectivelyā¦ Its crazy, but it might be worth it. God I hate porkhand magistrate in this matchup.
