well i want to come out guns blazing against an opening like that, but im a bit short on guns… maybe try to research a few with battlesuits? a plasmodium will only arrive after any fencers so too late, yeh battlesuits means plexus and fargo can kill fencers
Argghhhhh i k that it means nothing in a tournament but I had redone my turn on the spreadsheet patrolling max in lookout and forgot to regenerate post before posting :’(
I only know this because when I went and checked the spreadsheet to do my next turn there was Max sitting in the patrolling spot!
Sure you could still destroy t1 but ud be at least an imp and a fencer lower than you are now…

do i destroy graveyard or vandy? killing vandy means harder for them to get free levels out of max, killing graveyard keeps max on good health and stops them just reloading fencers at will, gonna have to be graveyard i think

Ive come far enough in this tournament to be satisfied anyway @FrozenStorm they win
However, partly for my pride and partly out of interest to see how much difference it makes, @bolyarich i challenge you to a match using these decks but I am p1 instead, you up for it?
dare i go for the plasmodium play? battlesuited seers do trade favourably with fencers but are weak to discord, argonauts are strong against finesse t1, but gotta remember they do also have 2 other specs

any hero will be vulnerable as stw could get through patroller. mox is unlikely to get its worth, fargo is playing too defensive, NC however, protects plexus from stw, can kill jav and therefore force an early reshuffle meaning he’s less likely to get early t1s so let’s go that way, let patrolling Vandys lie; he can midband Vandy through plexus in elite or SQL so might as well get patroller bonus i reckon; ideal next turn: includes temporal research and them killing my scav
for teching: overeager is good i think, trades well with a lot of his stuff; whether to go argonaut against fencers or sentry against garg is a hard choice, but if i’m temporal researching can always get sentry in t4 if it looks that way; other thing issss sentry can be researched into even if he doesn’t kill scav…

damn thought he’d take the easy kill with vandy, shouldve gone sentry so i could temporal research too! ive decided an argonaut is worth going down a further card instead of temporal researching into (hopefully) a fargo. gonna go for the tech break next turn with hiring oni. chsnged my mind, he is too expensive

actually quite a tough choice between destroying tech 1 or 2, but seeing as i have a decently sized patroller i am more scared of flyers and him setting up than i am of pesky fencers. as for my tech choice, id say past is the counter to finesse but present is more agressive: might be able to keep breaking buildings. i think for now present, but past if the game goes on. i would build a spec lab now, apart from it cuts me off from prynn-> research-> 5cost t2
