Onimaru will attack and kill Glorious Ninja while barely clinging to life in the exchange. Unfortunately, the Tower will murder him.
Onimaru would die without killing the ninja, since he has swift strike. The ninja+tower dmg happens at the same time so 5 from ninja+1 from tower kill him before he can deal his dmg.
I don’t think that makes sense since it implies that the tower has Swift Strike and deals its combat damage before Onimaru when I believe it’s been noted that it does it at the same time as an attacker. Do you have a source for your interpretation?
I checked in the rules thread, tower damage deals damage at the same time as the attacker, not the defender. So in this case Ninja does not kill Onimaru, then Oni and the tower deal damage at the same time.

Thoughts
I feel dumb for Patrolling Grave. I had originally only patrolled Glorious Ninja, and then I was like ‘Oh, Grave has Readiness, so I’ll throw him in Tech just in case he dies, but the Ninja should keep him safe.’ Then I forgot to move Ninja to Squad lead. Oh well. I finally have Earthquake, so next turn I should be able to destroy Tech I and II, and hopefully snipe any heroes he might have in play with Porcupine/Birds/Smoker/Glorious Ninja

My Tower will detect Smoker (I’m not actually certain if this is necessary. I suspect I would only need to detect invisible units rather than stealth ones but I figure I’ll be hyper transparent) and then Soldier 3 will attack him and they will both die.
Reputable Newsman will mosey around and kill the Aged Sensei.
I did. I think it’s probably a bad idea, but it just keeps being destroyed and I didn’t want to give you the free base damage. I’m not quite certain that I can come back from this but I’m gonna keep chugging along and see if I can’t pull something out.
