Whew, Rook barely makes it through. It hurts to dump so much gold into him, but he should be a solid wall if he makes it to next turn. 1 gold gives him two lives. No Bird’s Nest in this hand, but Mario and Luigi will probably be coming out.

I think I’m doing ok? I haven’t seen any Tech I out of him yet, so it’s hard to know. If he ends up going Truth for Tech II I’ll have to grab Thunderclap, but in the meantime I think Earthquake and Birds should help me raze tech buildings.

I think Onimaru dies? Glorious Ninja has 5 attack from Elite, and I have a tower. Oni is a 5/6 with Elite training.

I completely overlooked that you had a tower. I apologize! I have corrected my turn accordingly.

Onimaru would die without killing the ninja, since he has swift strike. The ninja+tower dmg happens at the same time so 5 from ninja+1 from tower kill him before he can deal his dmg.

I don’t think that makes sense since it implies that the tower has Swift Strike and deals its combat damage before Onimaru when I believe it’s been noted that it does it at the same time as an attacker. Do you have a source for your interpretation?
