solid turn. since he is going down on cards, I also will go down on cards, and time my discard reshuffling to load my deck with tech2ās next turn. if sparring partner survives, i will need birds to gain some momentum.
i SB geiger because flickr is so strong. I also have a strang suspicion that he has something planned with geiger given he have never used himm beforeā¦
all i can do is force good trades on my part. nature of being P2.
best case for him is either staying back, or hitting Sp with Argo, and trading Vir and Mox. otherwise, heād lose everyone, which I doubt heāll do.
Sad for the mid-Geiger Snapback, would have been great with my Present Tech2s coming next turn. For now am trading Vir against Grave, as Grave looks to have return on leveling up at this point in the game, and would be a good recipent of a Sparring Partner rune.
That Tower is already causing me problems. Iāve a Tricycloid in deck that can do Tower-free damage (though could get shut down by Mind Parry Monk), and am teching an Immortal which will also be unaffected.
Savior Monk might just get some work done back there. Going IPN and HN, maybe get the stealth tech 1 kill. Also, SS Sets would be a good counter to Mox for a turn. Too bad I have no negative runes to throw on Mox. that would be idealā¦
BS Mox can kill Aged sensei, and NC can ping anyone. Unlikely that everyone survives for when I want to HN IPN
darn it, drew HN. oh well, ill tech a second and worker one of them to maximize chances of getting it turn 4 for the tech 1 kill. Worst case, he drops Argo t3 to deal with, and I keep IPN on back line to HN his tech 1 as much as possible.
Also considered Suits; Forgotten Fighter bounces Sensei; Mox kills Saviour. But thought better to leave Saviour on board and try to bounce with Stewardess.
only option to actually put on pressure. but huge risk with origin story. i guess not, give that IPN is loaded right now. he cant origin story sets AND tech 2 right now. even if he origin storied sets, it would be gg, 8, worker, 7, prynn, 5, OS, 2, unit, 0, with only mox and a unit to show for it. AND, i would still be able to resummon her. im the one who doesnt have to waste gold going early tech 2 here.
teching Hidden Ninja and Vigor Adept to counter his Argoās. ugh, no HN. man, these draws are killing me.
edit, this game is over. it was a good idea. but no way to stop his tech 2 huge turn. begging for him to have an equally bad draw to my own.
Tower could be useful later to see and possibly Assimilate Foxās Den School. Though Iād like a tech bonus, am patrolling Argonaut in elite rather than tech so attacking IPN dies when even with Safe Attacking or Senseiās Advice.
Discipline gives me a few potential problems as Present (Iāve already teched a Hyperion). MPM shuts down my targeting (Tricycloid, Undo, Origin Story, Prynn max), Training Grounds is crazy good for him if allowed to tap (his heroes are all great at max), YLDs decent given my only flier is Nullcraft.
Since Iāve Origin Story in hand now, Iām skipping a worker to play it now and remove the immediate Sets maxband threat. Teching Assimilate (against Training Grounds) and Immortal.
