Iā€™ve some early initiative, but he can stabilize pretty quickly, eg Stewardess/Nullcraft to get rid of my Skeletons, Argo as a solid body. Heā€™s down a card without Battle Suits in play, so maybe heā€™ll try Future or Past this time rather than Present. Void Star could be tricky, especially if hasted with Now!. Iā€™ll try Anarchy this game, teching a Baron (summon this turn with Garth) and Steam Tank.

That tech 2 kill ends me. Without prynn I canā€™t deal with this. Getting greedy last turn with Geiger to pick up some hero levels while forgetting about Zane was so punishing.

Thoughts

Plan 1) Fargo + Nullcraft: I need to be able to stay up on cards, being hit with an imp is gonna hurt, but if he imps he canā€™t kill Fargo (assuming a tech 1). If he doesnā€™t need/want a tech 1 the SL is really bad, which is very possible with vandy. Plans 2) Nullcraft. Get me around the hand descruction but
I would love to just drop a Plasmodium/Battlesuits here and say go, intending to reclaim tempo later, but that is not an option for me.

Thoughts

I need to keep my tech 1 up. Without it I have no options as purple.
Option 1) Mox + suits: loses to deteriate/Max Zane -> tech 1 down (skips worker on second)
Option 2) Mox + Neo(Tech): loses to Deterioate + Shadowblade (he skips worker): not the worst, but not great either
Option 3) Neo + Suits: loses to Shadowblade or Max zane + Deteriorate. Putting plexus into lookout prevents the second option, but again leaves me down on cards.

Option 2 makes me the safest, but also leaves me in the worse position if he doesnā€™t have the answer. Vand into Plexus then mid for heal + play units/max vandy and threaten meta. I canā€™t deal with meta right now. I donā€™t think he teched shadowblade so lets go with 3

Avoiding teching Stewardess as I donā€™t think itā€™s gonna get much value as PetE is good enough to play around it.
Origin story is just too expensive to deal with a vandy at this point. Defo in next turn though.
