The question is, with Martial Mastery as the last card in my hand, do I use it just to get my hand back up a bit, or do I wait? I think wait, there are cards I don’t want to risk drawing too early.

- Trade Grave with the Zombie so I can bring him back at full strength, kill the other patrollers, build a Tech III. Draw up to 4 cards, but lose all momentum, and block with nothing.
- Kill the Zombie with the Ghoul, Deteriorate the Newsman, kill him with Orpal, StW on Ghoul and Musketeer, destroy the tower or the Jail with Grave. Sill have enough money for Tech III. Draw up to 2 cards, block with Grave.
Option 2 seems better. I think I can handle Truth fine if given time to draw into Orpal’s stuff, so I can wait on destroying the tower and hit the Jail first, while it’s holding something unimportant. I have 3 gold spare, I could maxband Orpal, or build a tower. I have a 13/28 chance of drawing something that puts down runes next turn, otherwise I’d have to put down a unit and sacrifice it immediately. 3/28 chance of getting neither, and the units left in my deck are pretty cheap. Let’s risk it.
… Damn. I’ll have to attack something with Orpal, and follow up with Spreading Plague if needs be.
