Ok, not the worst outcome. Rook is probably dead here, which is unfortunate, but at least it should take most of his units to do it, with the basilisk left at 1hp, but i might end with a drakk at max and maybe no units…
Is it worth attacking here? I’d need to put DeGrey out to hit Quince or the Porkhand. Yeah, let’s get rid of Quince, at least I can cast spells if Midori is disabled, and he now has to choose between Colossus and Midori to disable, Arrest only targets patrolling units. If I don’t draw Basilisk next turn, I should be able to afford a Tech Lab.

Tech 0 card(s)
Get Paid + owl - ($11)
DeGrey trades with Garth, you draw, levels fizzle
Doubling Barbarbarian, Drakk gives it haste - ($8)
Bloodlust on Drakk and Doubling Barbarbarian - ($6)
Doubling Barbarbarian, now at 7 attack, kills Porkhand Magistrate and Macciatus, you get a gold, takes 2 damage
Rampant Growth on Spectral Roc, killing it - ($4)
Circle of Life on Gemscout Owl, it turns into a Wandering Mimic - ($1)
Tech Lab Balance - ($0)
Midori (4), Colossus (7), Drakk (4) and Wandering Mimic (5) hit your base for 20 damage, GG!
I think I can just go under the Roc and take out Macciatus first here.
Trade DeGrey with Garth, then 5 gold gets me a hasted 7/5 Barbarbarian to kill Porkhand and Macciatus. Another 2 gold takes out the Roc, leaving me with 4 gold to Circle in a Mimic and hit the base for 16, and I can speed that up with the other lust effect on Drakk to do 20.
Play Barbarbarian, then Circle in a Basilisk to cancel Mythmaking. That leaves me with units stats I can’t be bothered to try and optimise, so option #1 is ago!
With Macciatus coming out that turn, I think drawing into Thunderclap on Turn 5 and killing Midori with Rook might have slowed me down just enough to make that a win for you. That Magistrate did a good job of stopping me from going into Final Showdown, but the card draw it gave me kept me out of trouble several times in return.
I’ve got a deck I’d like to try with blue starter, but it might prove to just be a gimmick deck that can be worked around. We’ll see. I’m going to take a break to work on stuff for the data thread first. You never know, that might come up with a suggestion!
