really not the cards I wanted to draw here… FF and Huntress would have given me some leash to work with, as it stands though I don’t have much chance to keep anything alive. I think best idea is just let 'em break buildings, then next turn maxband Oni, and then hope I draw Murkwood on the RS


People in our draft tend to choose Present first since it’s strong on its own as a standalone spec and there’s no guarantee that you will be able to choose Peace when your turn comes back around (actually most of the time, Peace was denied from it so far). Is it a good strategy? don’t know, but that’s the reason ^^

Wow, Murkwood would have been very annoying… I don’t think I have a good way to clear small creatures. I also teched in BL to deal with Nullcraft to then find out then it can’t be targeted by it lol. Not sure how I deal with anti air with this deck.

Also looking back at the game now, it seems like I got lucky with destroying your tech/heroes just on time with the cards you drew. I’m still not sure if I made a mistake turn 1 summoning Garth when Cala could just kill him. I missed on 2 LBs, but it turned out OK somehow

Yeah a little unlucky but mostly my fault for fast-teching Feral Strike, wasn’t a smart choice. BK or Argo + Murkwood would have been a better bet. Getting an LB for turn 4 certainly helped but you set that up pretty well. The Nether Drains were the real killer, as I was counting on Feral Striking for some hefty bodies like Centaur / BK / Argo, and then I couldn’t.

It was definitely worth, I didn’t really suffer from going down on cards and LB sooner is just worse for me. Had I teched Murkwood, an alternative turn 4 where I Murkwood + kill Garth with Stalking quite possibly could have made the difference between winning and losing.
