[details=Starting Hand and Thoughts]Nullcraft, Temporal Research, Neo Plexus, Hardened Mox, Forgotten Fighter. Green always seems to go Balance against me…let’s see if that’s what happens here. I’ve never really developed a good answer for it. I think that with his opening, I’m fairly safe in playing a hero. I tend to like Geiger these days, but I don’t want to waste his maxband on some damn Tech 0 thing. Vir’s stats are meh like all Purple heroes but his topband isn’t completely useless, so maybe him? Prynn I could play and if he doesn’t pressure me, threatens to cost him a draw/discard step at a bad time.
No sense in getting too tricksy. Save that for another day. Geiger it is. Sparkshot at least has some combat utility.[/details]

lol; sorry. Bad copy and paste I need to think a bit about my build today as I typically have some trouble against Green, so my move will come later tonight likely. After that I should be able to keep up a pretty good pace through the rest of the week and weekend.
No worries, take your time.
[details=Starting Hand and Thoughts]Tinkerer, Plasmodium, Fading Argonaut, Battle Suits, Time Spiral. Lot of board pressure he’s putting out early, but I’m surprised at no hero yet. He’s got 7g next turn, which is enough for Worker / Hero / Spell / Tiny Basilisk, which is what I more or less expect.
I’d like to build my Tech 2 on time if possible, so starting next turn with 8g is paramount. Luckily I can do Suits / Fading and float a gold. I’m going down a card, and he’s got some beefy Tech 0s out, so lets tech 2x Stewardess?
Big question right now is do I kill his Prospector and only patrol with one unit? Looks to me like he’s well set up for a “Behind the Ferns” play next turn. Crap, is there any way I can even guarantee my T1 survival? Worker / Cally / BTF / RG = 6dmg to my T1, though Cally gets punished if she does that. Still, I’m going to change my tech to include a Ready or Not just in case. I don’t usually feel bad when that’s floating around. This is already going off the script of “just tech good units”, but as I’m planning on leading with Immortals in this game, RoN is a nice card to have teched.

/sigh at RG.
[details=Starting Hand and Thoughts]Tinkerer, Battle Suits, Time Spiral, Immortal, Ready or Not. This hand sucks for this situation. I could play Battle Suits but he’s likely got a Potent about to drop, so that’s pretty much a waste. No Nullcraft to Punish Calamandra with.
My deck has Forgotten Fighter, Immortal, Nullcraft, and Fading Argonaut. Given that 3/4 of those represent improvments on my turn, and I’m flush with cash, I’m going to do Vir here.
FML. Immortal’s on top of the deck. No help there.
Building a Tower at this stage in the game is pretty much the same thing as conceding, imo. But I’m fresh out of options.
I don’t feel like giving him a card for the Spore Shambler this turn.[/details]

Ugh, he didn’t play Battle Suits yet, wisely against Balance, and there is a ton of damage possibly incoming. So now I have to decide between 1) PotentB and Tech 3, killing Stewardess and Neo with TB and Cala and expecting Cala to die at 1hp but draw 1 more or 2) PotentB, Ferocity and Max Heal Cala, Stewardess and Neo still die, but TB lives slightly, with a PB wall discouragement. The problem is Tricycloid, Hyperion, Ready or Not, and Now!. PB is pretty much going to chew up some resources to break through, but in 1, he can break through with immortal and fading, leaving me 2 puny defenders against whatever shenanigans he has for 13 gold. Note he probably did not plan on 12g rewind, as it would hurt him more than me, with not being able to replay immortal immediately. 2 requires Ready or Not or Now and Immortal in hand to even break through PB, but once he does, he has 7 gold to kill midori and shambler with fading and vir, and then anything on the other side is fair game. Really wish I had polymorph right now. 2 it is…

[details=Starting Hand and Thoughts]Immortal, Nullcraft, Hyperion, Forgotten Fighter. As I ultimately expected, this looks like it will be decided at Tech 3, and probably not in my favor. My endgame at this point is to try and survive 2 turns and build an Ebbflow Archon.
I really want to tap Geiger this turn to speed up my draw cycle a little bit, but there’s a Stewardess of the Undone on the top of the deck, which I actually want to play :(. I was kind of hoping for garbage. Next turn Geiger can be dead…I guess I’ll kill Midori though I don’t relish giving him any gold.
I guess this as good of a spot as I could have hoped for going into this situation. Let’s see how the matchup actually plays out now.
POST EDIT THOUGHTS: Doh, I evaluated this wrong. Not building T3 this turn is a huge gamble as a T-Rex worker feast could very well stuff my endgame. Still, it was between 2nd Immortal or Tech 3 with the gold amount I had. Maybe he won’t go after workers? But I kind of doubt it. Still, T2 Present isn’t known for T3 and he could be thinking that I’ve teched in some spells (like Geiger’s ultimate). I likely would have taken the gamble at the end of the day, but I should have teched cards last turn to be less obvious about what I was doing. And this is no longer “as good of a spot as I could have hoped for” going into this situation

Stewardess, Neo Plexus, Battle Suits, Ready or Not. FML with these draws today. 4 out of 5 to have a Hyperion next turn and he doesn’t show.
EDIT: No change; just putting in some thoughts.
Actually, rules question for @EricF going back to my T6 (of course if you know @zhavier I’m wondering what you think, too)…on T6, if I had attacked the Ferocious Potent Basilisk with my Immortal, would the Immortal have done damage to the Potent?
The swift strike ruling says that, “If swift strike damage kills a unit or hero in combat that does not have swift strike, the non-swift strike unit or hero dies before it gets a chance to deal combat damage.” But since the Immortal never actually dies, would it get to hit back?
Crap. Crap. Crap crap crap.
On T6 I put a card into Worker pile even though I ultimately reversed course and didn’t pay for a Worker. I should have discarded it and drawn an extra card, and the worker card should have been a candidate to draw on T7 after my RS.
Ultimately it wouldn’t have changed the substance of my T7 since the only card I actually played (Immortal) was in my draw pile at the end of T6 and not part of the RS.
Since you haven’t played T8 yet, I can either concede or possibly repair the gamestate by re-doing my end-of-T6 RS & draw. I would stay at 4 cards since I think my hand size on your turn is one of those “irreparable” things that should probably be left as-is. The only thing that could potentially impact is my T7 worker choice. Thoughts @EricF?
Sorry for the screw-up
