Max Geiger and Tinkerer, with no Plasmodium… Well, not sure what that means, but there is a lot of potential pressure with Geiger. I think I’ll put up Battle Suits to punish attacks. I’ll be greedy and hold back Fading Argonaut to make it more likely that I can get Temporal Research to get my hand count back. I was hoping to get Drakk out this turn, but there’s too much pressure, I’ll take the card penalty instead.

a few ways to clear his board but this is the only one which lets me build tech 2 as well, probably wont assimilate next turn unfortunately as i dont think depriving him of battlesuits is worth skipping a worker (will be playing hyperion unless he does a hasty tech break which is perfectly possibly but would also put him in a bad position)

peek - temporal research, swapped hyperion into next hand
I think we have allowed that sort of adjustment before, since the next turn hasn’t come yet, but Offkilter would have to redraw his next hand afterwords. Ultimately it’s zango’s decision.
While i would’ve been fine with you moving the patroller and re-drawing ur next hand, it also doesnt matter i dont wanna hit your ninja either way - it’s got too much atk

Thoughts
attacking a 5/5a ninja with Hyperion feels wasteful, leaving a hyperion on my board feels stupid against kidnapping, but you know what cant be kidnapped? tech 3s actually that’s boring, lets very expensively kill drakk
Charnel is correct, we typically allow edits before the next turn is taken, with a courtesy to inform the opponent of the change in case they had read the turn and planned their next move specific to it.
Same thing with found errors, we typically try to rewind to the error and replay from that point. I think the tourney rules text captures this ethos but it should be added if it does not, or if you’d like the norms to be stricter here that should be captured somewhere as well.
This is a tournament but it’s also a for fun community event, there are no stakes beyond ego or pride. I try to strike a balance of firm to keep things fair and understanding of special circumstances to keep things welcoming. It’s not perfect but it’s kept the tourneys going so I’m happy with it
It’s like I’ve said before: yeah this is the “serious” mode, but it’s as serious as you can get in a nerd game of nerds with like twenty active players.

Okay, I have a bit of a defensive posture now. I can catch up in tech and workers, and hope to get a bloodlusted void star combo to turn things around. I’ve been teching into void star and xenostalker so I can ignore Immortals. If I can survive to get void stars up I’ll be threatening. I’m behind 8 levels of heroes though!
And when i kill one ninja, the other only grows stronger! Unfortunately it’s not enough
