Is this a race to tech 3 or what? bloodlust should help pop illusions, and bloodlusted Basilisk is hype. clap helps ogre get safe attacks. as for this turn, I can ogre, triple level Midori, rune Tiger Cub to bounce Knight. this leaves Treant against a single cadet and puts recruiter in play. I skip a worker but this is a good tempo threat. what else can I do? Recruiter, Rook, leaves me with 2 coins to spend or bank. Brave Knight can die to Midori plus cub. Rook plus Treant is 5 and 2 health, or 3 and 4. Recruiter is safe. I think that’s the play then.

Wait sorry, I’ll have to redo after uh you redo? Cadet should be dead because Tower. in which case I would have grabbed Mox instead, it would attempt to self trash, and then it would hit your discard. Does that work as a quick fix? I’d just patrol Midori in tech instead of Cadet

Assuming trashing counts as leaving play, this is a weird case where the owner vs controller rules would kick in, right? Or does that not happen for other reasons?

(Also, I believe Nullcraft dies to tower here)

I think owner vs. controller is only relevant if the unit dies normally. Same thing with units you’ve stolen going to your Graveyard when they die.

I have to take down tech 3, so I need barrow to kill two patrollers. then I need 3 damage to kill mirror. Then I need 5 damage, that’s bloodlusted tiger and Drakk. that’s 7 gold, I have 3 left. Hilariously we hit anti synergy, and I can’t get Tiger Cub to 5 even with bloodlust, because it loses Midori buff
