So what do I do with all this gold? What will Black do with all this gold? Probably Garth nonsense. I need gold sinks, which I think looks like Rook/Birds/Earthquake. Opening Rook here is good, it lets me potentially midband Rook into something next turn. No sense building Tech 1, I can’t build Tech 2 until T3, but I want to try and build it T3 Maybe quick end with Colossus. So long as I keep cheap units in play, Doom Grasp is the only way to deal with it.

Sorry to bug you, but I also have 3 cards in hand, not 4, did you want to rerandom the discard?

Have I lost count? I had 4, +1 for the tech draw = 5, one worker, one LB and one deterioriate means back to 2, discard 2 draw 4?

Hes not referring to your handsize, he means you discarded one of his cards, and I’m gonna say just stick with 3 of 3 instead of 3 of 4

I need that Nether Drain, and I can get it - it’s just how many skeletons I need to go through first. I have a max of 4 - one on the field, one from Garth, one from another LB and one Javelineer. Before I draw though - what should I tech? The plan this turn is nether drain, horror kills Rook, two skeletons and Garth kill T2, second LB. I think I plan to stick on T1 and try to run him over, so maybe a Baron and a Shadow blade and get Vandy out… but I might not have the gold for that depending on the no of skeletons. Second Gargoyle may be strong, if I keep Rook down then he doesn’t have much anti-air. Let’s go with that. Skeleton no. 1… no luck. No. 2… Got it. OK, now what could wreck me in his starter and T1 and heroes? A Snapback would be annoying, but not too bad given that I probably don’t want many more LBs. He has no haste, so I don’t need to patrol, and actually that would open me for a Reversal. He could play Twins or Inverse Power Ninja to stack his board quickly, but between Baron and the coming Gargoyles I can hopefully continue to break through and keep away the De Grey he is plotting. I think this is good for now.

Yikes, full-tilt LB spam. And I gotta keep Tech 2 up to deal with it! Stuffing the patrol zone, can James break it? Garth kills Rambasa #1, Zombie kills Rambasa #2, Horror kills Grave, Baron kills Setsuki, leaving Zombie + Imp + Skeleton to kill Sensei and break Tech 2. I have to hope Deteriorate isn’t in James’ hand. Is there a better way to make James waste attacks? Swapping Grave and Rambasa just means that Zombie kills Rambasa instead of Garth, which puts one extra point of attack in play and guarantees Tech 2 kill. What about Setsuki in SQL? Nope, same deal. I think this is actually my idea patrol, maximizing things with 3+ health.

Keeping the horror to deal with the big Rook wall he will probably build now. I should be able to continue to tech break every turn - or at least, that’s the plan. Playing Skele Jav as as long as Garth is on the field, it is equivalent to having a card in hand anyway and I doubt he’ll bother to snapback at this point.
